The Golden Ratio

One day, in class we discussed the golden ratio and how it applies in life, like in the Pantheon.  Shortly thereafter, I saw this shell in a gift shop by the beach and realized the Golden Ratio could also be demonstrated in real life through nature.

If you could calculate the ratio between the each of the sections to the next, you would find that the ratio is the same as the Golden Ratio. (~CB1)
